How to transfer an Embroidery Pattern on to Fabric
There is no end of creative options once you cross the hurdle of transferring patterns onto fabric.
What tools do you need?
- Pen: I recommend a basic "Frixion Pen" (available at Target or Office Depot). It's a "heat erase" pen that is a go-to for embroiderers working on transferring their patterns to fabric. There are other water soluble pens on the market, but the Frixion pen is rapidly becoming the standard.
- Light Source. Window or lightbox (like this one sold on Amazon)
That's literally all you need.
Print out your design. Tape it to a window and tape your fabric on top. Trace away!
